Past performance is the best indicator of how our team will perform. Our experience with innovative solutions, the attention we give to our clients needs, our team building solutions, along with our quality control activities, has assisted our firm in receiving many prestigious awards.
For example, the Wide Hollow Dam Rehabilitation Project was awarded the 2012 Engineering Excellence Grand Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of Utah, acknowleding it as the BEST Water Resources Project in the State of Utah. This project was 20 years in the making between studies, planning, design, and construction. Construction completed in 2011 which had involved completely removing the dam and foundation and constructing a new dam that would meet minimum State standards.
Only a few years earlier, our firm was awarded the ACEC of Utah 2009 Engineering Excellence Grand Award in Water Resources for the West Side Combined Canals Salinity Project, which consisted of replacing approximately 46 miles of seven irrigation canals with one pressurized irrigation delivery system.
For another example, the Rehabilitation of Piute Dam, which was the most difficult and expensive project undertaken so far under the State of Utah’s dam safety program, was named as the National Rehabilitation Project of the Year in 2005 from the Association of State Dam Safety Officials.
Our approach to work and our dedication to providing our clients with the best solutions, maximizing their water resource dollar, is something we pride ourselves in here at Franson Civil. It would be our pleasure to provide the same approach, dedication, and creativity in solving your water resource needs.
