The Water Resource Specialists

Franson Civil Engineers is committed to providing the best service to our clients. We recognize that water is the lifeblood of the West. Our mission is to ensure the wise use of water by providing quality engineering services to those who have stewardship to develop, manage, and conserve this precious resource. Our vision is to be the best water resources engineering firm in the State of Utah.

Our firm was awarded the prestigious 2005 ASDSO National Rehabilitation Project of the Year for our work on Piute Dam Rehabilitation. We recognize the effort put into the project by our associates at Gerhart Consultants, by State Dam Safety personnel, by the project owner Piute Reservoir and Irrigation Company, and by the contractors involved in the project W.W. Clyde and ASI RCC, Inc.

The project is the largest completed to date under the Utah Dam Safety Program. Innovative and creative engineering solutions allowed for the project to be completed and operational prior to 2005 spring runoff. The solutions also combined to save the client and its funding sponsor, the Utah Board of Water Resources, between $4-6 million dollars.

The approach to the work, the dedication to providing our client the best solution and maximize their water resource dollar, are something we pride ourselves in here at Franson Civil. It would be our pleasure to provide the same approach, dedication, and creativity in solving your water resource needs.

Franson Civil Engineers was recently selected as an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contractor for the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation - Mid-Pacific region. The selection provides U.S. Bureau of Reclamation offices access to Franson Civil's expertise and skills without an extended procurement process. This selection is valid from 2006-2011.
